The staff increase supports the sales and marketing arrangement FreshWorld made last October with Thomas Produce Co., Boca Raton, Fla.

Vaughan and Moore join as FOB sales managers, and are in charge of coordinating the sales of Thomas Brand tomatoes, plum tomatoes and FreshWorld Farms proprietary cherry tomatoes and sweet minipeppers.

Vaughan has been with Live Oak Farms and CollierPac Tomato, where he was in charge of the FOB sales of fresh market tomatoes and bell peppers. Moore was most recently with Mecca Farms, where he handled the sales of mature green off-grades and vine-ripe tomatoes.

Beck joins the firm as FreshWorld's quality/production manager, and is responsible for overseeing its operations and ensuring that pack quality is consistent across growing locations. He works closely with Gigi Amores, FreshWorld's field production manager.
