Country Home Names Manager
try Home Bakers here has named Leonard G. D'Andrea district manager for customer business development in the New York and Philadelphia areas.
He succeeds Jim Campbell, who has left the company.
Prior to joining Country Home, D'Andrea was category promotions manager for Kraft Foods' beverage and desserts division in Rye Brook, N.Y. He had held that position for four years, and has had a total of 20 years experience at Kraft/General Foods/Entenmann's in sales and marketing management positions.
In his new post, D'Andrea reports to Michael Brown, Country Home's regional director of customer business development.
La Parisienne Taps Hauswald
ROCKVILLE, Md. -- La Parisienne Bakery Inc. here has appointed Linda Hauswald to the position of marketing manager.
Hauswald came to La Parisienne five years ago from Schmidt Baking Company of Baltimore and was most recently merchandising manager for the company. Her bakery experience dates back to 1967 when she started out as a retail manager for her family's business, The Hauswald Bakery. She replaces Stephen Adelson who has left the industry.
Hauswald's new responsibilities will include utilizing customer feedback to generate new product proposals, marketing strategy and package design. She will report to La Parisienne's president and chief executive officer, Mark Salman.
La Parisienne produces artisan and organic breads, pastries and authentic kettled bagels in fresh, frozen and par-baked forms. Brand names include Planet Bagel, Loafin' Around organic breads and Bonjour La Parisienne products.
