as promoted Rainer Schindler to the newly-created position of executive vice president and chief operating officer.
Previously, Schindler was the company's general manager. In his new position, he will continue to oversee the U.S. activities of Ragold, an arm of Ragolds Susswaren GmbH of Karlsruhe, Germany.
The company also promoted Arthur Pauly from finance director to the new position of assistant treasurer and officer of the corporation. Pauly will have complete responsibility for Ragold's fiscal operations, and will report to Schindler. Both Schindler and Pauly will now serve on the company's Board of Directors.
