Bayer Names Trade Director
avid Heist has been named director of trade development for Bayer Consumer Care here. This is a new post.
Heist, as long-time over-the-counter/health and beauty care executive, was most recently affiliated with A. H. Robins and Mennen, where he held trade development positions. At Bayer, he directs Bayer Consumer Care's business development program, develops national accounts and represents the company in trade associations.
Bayer Consumer Care, formerly Miles Inc. Consumer Healthcare Products of Elkhart, Ind., has recently relocated its offices here.
Manager Appointed at Stanback
SALISBURY, N.C. -- Mark Pate has joined Stanback here in the new position of category manager of skin care.
In his new position, Pate is responsible for all new product development in the skin care category and handles all marketing of current and new skin care products.
Prior to joining Stanback, a maker of health and beauty products, Pate was a vice president of consumer marketing at NationsBank of Charlotte, N.C., and was also a category marketing manager for Kayser-Roth, Greensboro, N.C.
