Rice Food Markets Appoints MIS Chief
e has named Keith Gaudsmith director of management information systems. He succeeds Walter Ferrari, who left the company.
Gaudsmith will be MIS director for all Rice Food Markets, Rice Epicurean Markets and PriceBuster Foods stores. A 15-year veteran of the data processing industry, Gaudsmith previously held positions at Allied-Signal, Morristown, N.J.
Actmedia Taps Regional Sales VPs
NORWALK, Conn. -- Actmedia here has named Robert Kovalesky and Daniel Doyle regional vice presidents of sales, completing a merger of the company's retailer and manufacturer sales branches into larger area-based divisions.
Doyle was named VP of sales for the company's new South/Central division. He will manage operations that previously reported directly to the main headquarters. Doyle had been group sales manager in Cincinnati.
Kovalesky, who will head the existing East regional sales division, succeeds Jay Elliott, who left the company. Kovalesky joined Actmedia in 1992 and was on the launch team for the company's Instant Coupon Machine. Doyle and Kovalesky will report to Patrick Harris, senior vice president of sales.
