California Grocers Association, Sacramento, Calif., said it has named Lance Hastings vice president, government relations, and Gilbert Canizales director of local government. Hastings succeeds Beth Beeman, who has left CGA. Hastings, formerly director of state affairs for Grocery Manufacturers of America, will be responsible for overseeing all government relations activities for the association.
