Tri-Union Adds VP Position
-- Tri-Union International has appointed Darwin R. Stewart vice president of sales and marketing for private-label and food-service seafood products.
Stewart reports to Chaiphorn Wangnitayasuk, chief operating officer. His responsibilities in this new position include supervision of sales and marketing for retail and food-service seafood products.
Tri-Union is the only full-service packer of tuna and other seafood products in the continental United States.
California Group Names Kaldor
SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- The board of directors of the Dairy Institute of California here has appointed Rachel Kaldor executive director of the association.
Kaldor, who reports to the association's board of directors, is responsible for managing the association and handling all legislative and regulatory issues that come up.
Prior to this, she served as the chief of the legislative unit of the California governor's office of local government affairs.
The Dairy Institute is a trade association representing processors of 75% of all dairy products manufactured and marketed in California.
