Dominick's Names 4 to Posts

nick's Finer Foods here gave John Boyle, formerly vice president of administration, the new title of group vice president of information technology and store development.

Boyle reports to Darren Karst, chief financial officer and executive vice president of administration.

In other changes, Bob McCoy, formerly senior vice president of operations, was named executive vice president of operations, a new position. He reports to Bob Mariano, Dominick's president and chief executive officer.

Don Fitzgerald was named group vice president of nonperishables and logistics, a new position. Fitzgerald was formerly vice president of grocery. He reports to Mariano.

John Turek, director of engineering and maintenance, was named vice president of construction and store planning, a new title. He continues to report to Boyle.

Fleming Division Adds Posts

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Fleming Cos. here has named two new executives for its retail store division in Buffalo, N.Y.

Cheryl McArthur has been named information technology and training manager for the division, a new position.

McArthur, who has more than 25 years experience with front-end systems and store operations, most recently served as training manager for Big V Supermarkets, Florida, N.Y. One of her first priorities will be to implement new scanning systems in some of the Buffalo division's stores.

Jim Tedesco has been named director of loss prevention for the division, also a new position.

Tedesco, who previously served as director of loss prevention for Big V, has worked in the field of security and loss prevention for more than 30 years, including serving as a state policeman.

Both officials report to John MacIntyre, president of the division.
