NCBA Names Two Directors

oore and Katie Egan have joined the Center for Public Policy in the National Cattlemen's Beef Association's offices.

Moore has become executive director of legislative affairs, succeeding Chandler Keys, who was promoted to vice president for public policy. Moore coordinates NCBA legislative efforts and serves as the NCBA senior lobbyist on Capitol Hill. He reports to Keys.

Egan has filled the open position of director of nutrition and food safety. Egan, a registered dietitian, will implement NCBA nutrition policy and monitor nutrition and food-safety issues. Egan also reports to Keys.

Ann Soli has joined the NCBA Center for Communications here as manager of public affairs. She succeeds Wendy McDavid, who is now at the National Association of Wheat Growers. Soli assists with media and programs to educate the public about cattlemen and the beef industry.

Park Farms Taps VP of Sales

CANTON, Ohio -- Wayne Adkins has joined Park Farms, in the new position of vice president of sales and marketing.

Before joining Park Farms, Adkins had been the director of chicken sales at Wampler Foods in Broadway, Va.

Adkins reports to Dick Leggett, president of Park Farms, and is responsible for the direction of sales and marketing efforts in both food service and retail.
