Two Senior VPs Appointed by C&S
lesale Grocers here said it has named Bill Hamlin senior vice president of strategic planning, a new position.
Hamlin was vice president and chief financial officer. Succeeding him, with the title of senior vice president of finance and chief financial officer, is Brenda Evans Edgerton, who joined C&S after serving as vice president of business development for Campbell Soup Co., Camden, N.J.
She reports to Ron Wright, executive vice president, and Hamlin reports to Rick Cohen, president and chief executive officer.
In his new position, Hamlin is responsible for corporate activities in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning, tax planning, business development and government relations. He will continue to serve as a C&S director and as a member of C&S's Advisory Board.
Super-Sol Gets New President
RISHON LEZION, Israel -- Super-Sol Ltd. here said Amiaz Sagis was appointed president of the company. He succeeds David Alphandary, who retired.
Alphandary held the president's post for the past seven years. He was appointed as a temporary, special adviser to Sagis, and the chairman of the company's board of directors.
