Van der Ent Assumes Ahold Post
Royal Ahold here has named John van der Ent managing director of ETOS, the company's chain of more than 350 health and beauty care stores, effective Sept. 1. Van der Ent comes to Ahold from a Spanish company, Makro, where he was operations director. He succeeds Willem-Jan Vreezen, who has been appointed president of Ahold Asia Pacific.
Promotion at Rexall Sundown
BOCA RATON, Fla. -- Rexall Sundown here has promoted Nickolas Palin to the position of senior executive vice president. Palin also will continue as president of the company's Sundown Vitamins division, a title he has held since last September.
