MANCHESTER, N.H. -- Associated Grocers of New England here last week said it promoted Jim Johnson to warehouse operations manager and named Mike Lawyer to succeed him as warehouse superintendent. Lawyer will report to Johnson, who will in turn report to the vice president of operations and logistics, John Murphy. Johnson is replacing Dick MacLeod, who has left the company. Johnson served in operations and transportation management positions at Supervalu before joining AG New England. Associated Grocers of New England is a cooperative owned entirely by independent retail grocers. It serves Maine, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont and the upstate New York area.
