BLUNCK NAMED BLUELIGHT CEO
orp. here said it has named Richard Blunck chief executive officer of BlueLight.com, the discounter's independent but wholly owned Web site. Blunck has served as BlueLight's interim CEO since the May departure of his predecessor, Mark H. Goldstein. Prior to that, Blunck was Kmart's chief technology and eBusiness officer.
KROGER PROMOTES LOGISTICS EXECUTIVES
CINCINNATI -- Kroger here has promoted WIlliam T. Boehm to senior vice president and president of Kroger Manufacturing, responsible for all food-processing operations. Boehm previously served as group vice president of logistics, a position he held since 2001. He succeeds Geoffrey J. Covert, who is on special assignment. Kroger also promoted Kevin M. Dougherty to group vice president of logistics, responsible for Kroger's nationwide logistics network and supply chain operations. Dougherty joined Kroger in 2001 as vice president, supply chain operations.
