OKLAHOMA CITY -- Fleming Cos. here said it has named Richard La Trace president of Sentry Supermarkets, Milwaukee, with additional responsibilities for overseeing the distributor's wholesale division there.

La Trace reports to Mark Hansen, chairman and chief executive officer of Fleming. When a successor to Bill Dowd as Fleming president is selected, La Trace will report to him, the company said. (See related story on this page.)
Fleming also appointed William H. Marguart executive vice president for business development. In that capacity he is responsible for developing new retail and service business concepts.
Marguart joined Fleming from Ernst & Young's strategic advisory services practice. In that capacity, he led the team that worked with Fleming in an effort to identify major cost-savings opportunities. He was with Ernst & Young for 17 years. He reports to Hansen.
Fleming also said Dick Judd has been named to the new position of senior vice president of supply. He also became a corporate officer, reporting to Hansen.
Fleming also named Charlie Myers, vice president perishables, a corporate officer. He reports to Judd.
