LAS VEGAS -- Exhibitor floor space at the 1997 International Baking Industry Exposition (Baking Expo '97) has been sold out, according to the organizers of the event.
l baking professionals are expected to attend, organizers said.
Held every four years, the International Baking Expo is co-sponsored by the American Bakers Association, Washington, and BEMA, an international association serving the baking and food industries.
The event is primarily a trade exhibition of companies that supply bakery operations of all types, from large commercial bakers to in-store supermarket operations and small retail bakers. In addition to the five days of exhibition, the event will feature an English-Spanish language seminar on the technology of baking, conducted by the Manhattan, Kan.-based American Institute of Baking from Sept. 19 to 21.
