FLORAWORLD PLANTS SEMINAR SCHEDULE FOR JANUARY SHOW

NEWARK, Del. -- The FloraWorld Marketing Conference has announced details of seminars to be presented as part of its conference, set for Jan. 8 to Jan. 11 in Atlanta.

la., will discuss "Out of the Box and into the Game! Putting Together the Marketing Puzzle." In addition, Edward D. Barlow Jr., a consultant and member of the graduate school faculty at the University of San Francisco, will explore the economic, technological and social trends anticipated for the 21st century, in a session titled "Journey into the Next Millennium."

On Saturday, four sessions will start the conference day. Janet Lapp, author of "Plant Your Feet Firmly in Mid-Air," will discuss best-practices and risk-taking companies and individuals. Three simultaneous sessions follow: "The Changing Marketplace: The Flower Paradigm," "Riding the Technology Wave,' and "Merchandising Trends from Around the World."

The FloraWorld Marketing Conference, co-chaired by Debby Robinson, vice president of floral for Randalls Food Markets, Houston, and Walter Rojahn, president of Rojahn & Melaney, Milwaukee, is a joint venture of the Floral Marketing Association, Newark, Del., and the Wholesale Florists and Florist Suppliers of America, Vienna, Va.
