BOCA RATON, Fla. -- Mark Hollis, vice chairman of the board of directors of Publix Super Markets, Lakeland, Fla., received the 1996 Sidney R. Rabb Award from the Food Marketing Institute at FMI's Midwinter Executive Conference here. South Bend, Ind. Hollis was cited for a long career at Publix that spanned five decades. He was also feted for his industry leadership, including key roles with FMI and other food industry groups. Hollis stepped down as president of Publix earlier this month.
