DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. -- A&P's Food Emporium Division here said it will replace its bonus savings club program with the Gold Points Rewards loyalty program this fall.

The program rewards its members each time the card is used; customers are issued Gold Points based on a particular spend level. In addition to earning points at Food Emporium, shoppers have the ability to earn points from national and regional partner retailers who offer frequently purchased products and services. This allow quick redemption and savings on travel, restaurants, hotels, groceries, floral arrangements and other merchandise.
According to Cheryl Palmer, president of Food Emporium, "The customer has many different options in terms of where they choose to shop. We chose the Gold Points program because it is a reflection of the type of customer that shops in our stores. We strive to establish long-term relationships with our customers, becoming their food retailer for life. Gold Points is one of the many ways we can make this happen."
