LOS ANGELES -- The Food Industries Circle for the City of Hope National Medical Center and Beckman Research Institute here said it expects to boost its fund raising for the medical facility by 15% this year -- raising its contribution to more than $9.2 million, compared with $8 million donated in 1999.
