LOS ANGELES -- The Food Industries Circle here said it plans to raise $9 million this year for research and treatment for the City of Hope Comprehensive Cancer Center here. Last year, the Food Industries Circle raised $8 million for the City of Hope. Since the Circle's founding 28 years ago, the food industry has raised more than $76 million for patient care and research at the facility.
