AKRON, Ohio -- Services were held here for Frederick Dannemiller, a 50-year grocery industry veteran, who died Oct. 14 while travelling in Italy. He was 71 years old.
e 1960s, Dannemiller served as vice president of the Cleveland division of Tyler Refrigeration, Niles, Mich., and as regional branch manager at Hussmann Refrigeration, Bridgeton, Mo.
In his retirement, Dannemiller founded Dannemiller Diversified Cos., an organization of manufacturing representatives for supermarket equipment, in Ohio and six surrounding states. In 1982, he received the Cleveland Food Dealers' Honors Award.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Joanne Dilley; daughters Marguerite and Francia; sons Gilbert, William and Noel; four grandchildren; sisters Dorothy Rodgers and Mary Frances Jarrold; and brothers Thomas, Lawrence and Edward.
