LOS ANGELES -- Frieda's, a major distributor of specialty produce that has been based here for the last 32 years, is moving its headquarters to Los Alamitos, Calif.
Los Angeles and Orange counties, near the Port of Long Beach.
Frieda's will continue to operate out of its existing facilities for the next few months. The move will be completed by July, the company said.
Frieda's was founded in 1962 by Frieda Caplan, the first woman to own a wholesale produce company in the United States.
