This year for the first time, the agenda includes presentation of the 1996 GEM Awards for excellence in electronic marketing, the organizers said. The awards are designed to recognize retailers, wholesalers, consumer product manufacturers and electronic marketing vendors for the best electronic marketing programs in the grocery industry. Deadline for entries is Feb. 1.
In addition, the conference program itself is being modified to include some smaller, concurrent breakout sessions.
