MINNEAPOLIS -- Sharon Babcock has been named manager, PVG communications, at General Mills here. She replaces Lee Swearingen, who has become a product sales manager in the company's Baking Division.

Babcock joined General Mills five years ago. Most recently, she served in the company's national category management group, working on meals categories, including dry packaged dinners (Helpers), soup (Progresso) and Mexican (Old El Paso).
