Included in the grocery section of the web site (www.gianteagle.com) is a "baby care" page. "What could be simpler than getting everything you need for your baby at Giant Eagle? Formula, food, medicine, accessories, diapers and even select clothing and toys," the copy reads.
Included in the information provided are baby care tips, such as how to help children appreciate a variety of foods, how to handle picky eaters and how to prepare baby food at home. There are also links to web sites for Pampers and Tide, which offer tips on removing baby stains.
Giant Eagle's site also highlights a special baby offer: a free personalized quarter-sheet cake, a $9.99 value, to celebrate the baby's first birthday. Shoppers can choose either a clown or floral design.
