LANDOVER, Md. -- Giant Food here said it raised $200,000 this year through its annual Check Out Hunger program, which ended last month. , which ended last month. The proceeds will be given to area food banks. The chain is preparing to launch its annual Good Neighbor Fund Drive later this month in which customers can purchase prepackaged boxes of food for donation to local food banks.
