SAN DIEGO -- Giant Food, Landover, Md., and Wegmans Food Markets, Rochester, N.Y., earned the Hunger's Hope Award for Grocery Distributor of the Year by the Second Harvest National Food Bank Network, Chicago.

The two chains received their awards at this year's Second Harvest conference, which was held here earlier this summer.
