CHICAGO -- Precuts can yield more mileage if they lead the produce traffic pattern, according to a retail produce executive. Jack Lanners, director of fresh fruits and vegetables at Glen's Markets, Gaylord, Mich., said his store got better results by placing precuts in the first section of the produce department.
