BOULDER, Col. -- Horizon Organic Dairy, based here, has added two new items to its line of organic milk products.
idwest, Southwest and East markets during the first quarter of 1996, according to Suzanne Shelton-Foley, spokeswoman.
The suggested retail price for a half gallon of 1% low-fat milk is $2.29, "but some sell it for $1.99 and some sell it for $2.59." A pint of half and half sells for a suggested retail price of $1.09.
"Because consumers are more health-conscious than ever they are moving to lower-fat products across the country," Paul Repetto, Horizon co-founder, said in a statement. "One percent and nonfat milk continue to be the fastest growing products in the dairy industry. Now there is a certified organic choice."
