SPRINGDALE, Ark. -- Craig Hill has been named the new video specialist at Harp's Food Stores here. Previously, Hill was a general merchandise manager in the chain's Bentonville store and general merchandise merchandiser in the Springdale store. He reports to Gerald Harp, chairman and president.

After three years with Harp's, Weddington is leaving to pursue freelance writing and will continue to buy videos on a part-time basis for a six-store specialty chain, Video World, in Rogers, Ark. He is relocating to the Seattle area.
Harp's has 20 video departments in its 42 stores. One is a live-inventory department with 2,000 square feet and 8,000 units of rental inventory. Other departments are smaller and of various sizes, including one with a small display of 200 tapes.
