MONTEREY PARK, Calif. -- Pasarow Foods here, a food brokerage, has named Don Hawks president as part of a corporate realignment in anticipation of a merger with Burgess Bradstreet, Calabasas, Calif.
alifornia, Los Angeles. He held the same title at Super Store Industries, the Stockton, Calif.-based distribution arm for a northern California retail coalition, and was also manager of controlled labels for the Western region of Fleming Cos., Oklahoma City.
In other changes, Warren Burgess, president of Burgess Bradstreet, has been named senior vice president of Pasarow's new specialty food and confection division; and Theodore Pasarow, the company's general manager, has taken the new title of executive vice president and is responsible for its private label and marketing divisions. Both he and Burgess report to Hawks, who reports to Michael Pasarow.
Burgess Bradstreet signed a letter of intent earlier this month to merge with Pasarow Foods in a deal expected to be completed within 60 days.
