Hazelwood already supplies breads, rolls, brownies, cakes, croissants, Danish, donuts, frostings, glazes, muffins, pies, pizza dough, puff pastry and eclairs to in-store bakeries and food-service operations.
The company intends to add Signature's Medford and Somerville, Mass., facilities to its plants in Atlanta, Hazelwood, Mo., Hazleton, Pa., McMinnville, Ore., and Rochester, N.Y., pending government approval of the sale.
