Vicks Chloraseptic Cough and Throat Drops, from Procter & Gamble, Cincinnati, are said to relieve both cough and throat irritation. Active ingredient is menthol, 10 mg per drop. Flavors include menthol and cherry in nine-count sticks, and menthol, cherry and honey lemon in 25-count bags.

Advanced Formula Plax Bows
Pfizer, New York, has introduced Advanced Formula Plax, increasing levels of sodium lauryl sulfate and adding pyrophosphates to loosen and remove more plaque than the original formulation. In addition to original and mint flavors, clear peppermint flavor is now available.
