ORLANDO, Fla. -- The General Merchandise Distributors Council held its annual Health and Beauty Care Conference here recently and participants had many opportunities to break from the fast-paced retailer-vendor meetings and socialize. During the conference, attendees also were told about the launch of the GMDC Educational Council's new "Women's Health and Well-Being Continuing Pharmacy Education Program" and heard a presentation from Wendy Liebman, president WSL Strategic Retail, New York, on shopping trends impacting health and beauty care products.
