SAN FRANCISCO -- AgriVentures USA/HerbThyme Farms has announced they have purchased the assets of The Greenhouse, combining one of largest retail-focused herb grower/distributors and one of the largest herb and specialty produce food-service distributors in the United States. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, though the latter had earlier declared bankruptcy.
