The ice cream sandwich was also the star of the show at the Capitol Hill Ice Cream Party, held June 22. Members of Congress and their families were treated to the world's largest ice cream sandwich.
The party is not over. September has been deemed Ice Cream Sandwich Month. Suppliers, processors, distributors and retailers across the country will be sponsoring a number of contests centered around ice cream sandwiches.
