t deli services and characteristics.

Some of the findings include that convenience is the No. 1 reason for shopping the deli. The study also shows that those with annual incomes lower than $20,000 were among the most frequent deli shoppers and that food's fat content is a major concern of consumers. (See SN, June 27.)

The 95-page report on the study, based on interviews of 1,027 consumers, is $395 for IDDA members and $795 for nonmembers. For more information, contact IDDA at (608) 238-7908.
