AURORA, Colo. -- Fleming Cos., Dallas, said it has transferred distribution from its piece-pick warehouse here to other facilities in New Mexico and Utah after a fire destroyed this 130,000-square-foot building late last month. No one was injured in the blaze, and the warehouse was unoccupied at the time the fire started, Shane Boyd, a Fleming spokesman, told SN. None of the vehicles or other transportation infrastructure was damaged, he said. The cause had not yet been determined last week. Boyd said the warehouse, which was acquired through the company's purchase of Core-Mark International last year, was one of 20 piece-pick warehouses that Fleming operates to serve its convenience-store customers.
