To the Editor: e again consumers are enticed by commercials run by various restaurant chains describing eating as joyful, fun and exciting. When will [the supermarket industry] employ restaurants' ad agencies to give our industry similar pizzazz? How? It costs me a minimum of $60 for a family of four to eat at a [chain] restaurant. I can easily provide a similar meal at home for $10 to $15. Why not relate this to consumers? Why not [air commercials showing] a dad with a child in tow ...
