Kellogg Wins Ad Award
-- The Kellogg Co. here has won Point-of-Purchase Advertising International's Chief Award for its success in retail-based brand marketing and strict adherence to the industry's ethical standards of practice. It is to receive the award Feb. 9 at POPAI's Annual Industry Leadership Conference in Tucson, Ariz.
Dick Blatt, president of POPAI, Washington, the trade association for the POP advertising industry, said Kellogg is a "proven leader in the creative utilization of in-store advertising."
Carlos Gutierrez, Kellogg's chairman and chief executive officer, said the company is pleased to receive the honor and remains committed to "effectively communicating our brand message in-store."
