TROY, Mich. -- Kmart Corp. here said it has launched an investigation of some former managers. management" and that the company has stopped paying "some severance pay to some executives." The spokesman declined to identify the executives or the amount of pay being withheld. He also said Kmart expects to issue its annual report, which will possibly restate financial results for earlier quarters, "on or about May 15."
