CINCINNATI -- The Kroger Co. here said last week it has promoted Bruce A. Macaulay to group vice president, grocery merchandising, effective immediately. CINCINNATI -- The Kroger Co. here said last week it has promoted Bruce A. Macaulay to group vice president, grocery merchandising, effective immediately. Macaulay has held a series of management positions at Kroger; most recently he was vice president of merchandising for the company's Cincinnati/ Dayton division. Prior to that, he was vice president of grocery merchandising and procurement at Kroger's corporate headquarters. Macaulay has been with the company since 1973, when he joined as a part-time retail clerk.
