To the Editor:

to you about what I believe is a unique situation. The grocery store I manage, Friday Harbor Market Place in Harbor, Wash., does not post its name on the exterior of the building or have any signs in the parking lot. This has been the case since we opened for business in our present location three years ago.

Surprisingly, our business has had steady growth every year. It could be partly that we are located on an island with Market Place as the larger of only two grocery stores. Nevertheless, I often wonder if there are other grocery stores in the U.S. without any exterior signage. I would like to hear about any other retailers that have followed this path.
