In fact, canned pineapple sales in the past two years have actually declined (on a unit basis) due to a variety of reasons, including dumping duties levied on Thai product and droughts in major producing regions of the world. This will definitely have the effect of limiting supply and could drive prices higher, which would decrease demand.

If the supply improves over the next year, which is unlikely, the best that we are hoping for is flat sales or small incremental increases.
