LOS ANGELES -- The Mexican American Grocers Association here has agreed to pay a $9,000 fine for allegedly funneling campaign contributions to two City Council members in 1991.
han $500 to a council candidate during a single election. In agreeing to pay the fine, MAGA acknowledged it had reimbursed eight employees for the $500 each gave to two council candidates.
