TV Food Network Sets Benefit

NEW YORK -- The Television Food Network, the nation's only 24-hour TV network dedicated to food and related topics, will present a star-studded telethon on June 5 to fight hunger in America. The six-hour program, titled "Let's Make Sure Everybody Eats," will be hosted by Valerie Harper and Matt Lauer. The entire proceeds of the program will go directly to hunger relief organizations Share-Our-Strength and Citymeals-on-Wheels, and other groups that deliver meals to the home-bound elderly. TVFN is based in New York City.
