Alldredge was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Mary Elizabeth. He is survived by his sons, Melvin C. Alldredge and S. Craig Alldredge; his daughters, Dr. Beverly A. Collier and Shirley M. Gerdenich; and by 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
