HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. -- M&M/Mars here is promoting its peg pack candies.
Milky Way miniatures, Snickers miniatures, Skittles and Starburst fruit chews. The bags contain approximately 6 ounces and are highlighted by a red, yellow, blue and white "New Size!" banner across the top.
The line has a suggested retail price of $1.29, but will be promoted at 99 cents during April, July and October. Eye-catching peg danglers will be used to merchandise the items during the promotion period.
Available to all classes of trade, the line was introduced last year and M&M/Mars cites market share figures showing that it has captured 9.7% of all peg pack candy sales during its first six months of distribution.
M&M/Mars offers several displays, including a C-store peg kit for 121 bags, 12-inch peg hooks with 25 pegs per carton, a grocery peg kit containing two 48-inch Magna-Bars with price channels and a capacity of 220 bags, and a 48-inch long clip strip.
