MINNEAPOLIS -- Nash Finch Co. here said sales hit record levels in the second quarter and half ended June 15. Sales rose 8.7% to $735.2 million for the 12-week quarter and 9.2% to $1.4 billion for the 24-week half. Net earnings rose 4.2% to $6.1 million for the quarter and 4.2% to $8.9 million for the half.
