MINNEAPOLIS -- Nash Finch Co. here said last week it has reinforced its growth strategy in the Upper Midwest with the completion of its acquisition of U Save Foods through the purchase of the retailer's capital stock. The acquisition includes 14 stores -- 10 in Nebraska, two in Kansas and two in Colorado -- that have operated under a variety of banners. Nash Finch said it will rebrand the stores under the Sun Mart banner later this year.
